About Isaac

Isaac Johnson’s story is one of grit, heritage, and persistence. Born and raised in Martinsville, Indiana, Isaac comes from three generations of body shop owners and lifelong NASCAR fans. One of his earliest racing memories is getting a thumbs-up from Carl Edwards at Indianapolis Raceway Park (IRP)—a track that would later host his ARCA debut.

Isaac first got behind the wheel at age 12, racing go-karts on Indiana dirt tracks. He didn’t have the resources to run full-time until 2017, but he made it count—winning the championship that year and again in 2020. In between, he earned a Mechanical Engineering degree, preparing himself both on and off the track.

From there, Isaac climbed steadily through the grassroots ranks: Kenyon Midgets, Dirt Late Models, Pavement Late Models—each step bringing more speed and more opportunity. In 2023, he made his ARCA Menards Series debut at IRP, finishing 12th in a car sponsored by his employer, George E. Booth Co., LLC.

In 2024, Isaac made his Daytona debut with Endress+Hauser as a sponsor, where he battled for a until a last lap crash finishing 18th. He closed the year with three Top 10 finishes across five ARCA starts, including a career-best 6th at Salem Speedway.

Now approved for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Isaac is chasing every chance to get behind the wheel. In 2025, he’s aiming to compete across the USSA Kenyon Midget Series, ARCA Menards Series, and the Truck Series—with the same relentless drive that’s defined his career so far.
